Amy M. Arrington, DMD

Dr. Arrington earned her Bachelor of Science from Ohio University, and her Master of Speech Pathology from the University of South Carolina. She practiced as a speech-language pathologist, with a special interest in stroke recovery, for almost 10 years. She then decided to pursue a second career in dentistry after falling in love with the profession’s unique blend of patient care, art, science, and medicine. She earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Medical University of South Carolina.
Dr. Arrington is passionate about improving the health and lives of her patients, as well as serving her community. She has volunteered at a number of local community outreach clinics, including Our Lady of Mercy on Johns Island, North Charleston Dental Outreach, and East Cooper Community Outreach. She also traveled to Peru in 2019 for a medical mission trip.
A native of Ohio, Dr. Arrington spent her summers visiting family in the low country and vacationing on Seabrook Island. She feels very blessed to now call the beautiful city of Charleston home. In her free time, she enjoys relaxing at the beach, practicing yoga, traveling, reading, cooking, and trying new restaurants around Charleston. She and her husband, Josh, have two daughters, Ansley and Adaline Clare.
