Jackie Hilbert – Practice Manager

I’m a Jersey girl turned Southern belle! I moved from New Jersey to South Carolina in 2013 with my amazing military husband and never looked back. I’ve spent over 20 years in the customer service industry, and I use that experience to make sure your journey with us starts on the right foot. I started in the dental field in 2007 and have loved making people smile ever since—literally! Life is full and fun with our two dogs, two cats, and three awesome kids who keep us busy on and off the soccer fields. When I’m not working, you’ll probably find me boating, painting, or soaking up family time wherever we can find it.

Debbie Johnson – Insurance Coordinator

I’m a Riverland Terrace girl, just like my mom and grandmother. I’ve lived on Kiawah for 46 years and have worked as a registered dental hygienist, a dental and medical equipment sales rep, and a dental technology advisor for 58 years. My husband Kenny was born and raised here too. My son Ramon grew up on Kiawah and can usually be found at The River Course, Cassique, or out boating. My stepson Kent grew up in Charleston and now works in Mt. Pleasant. Bunny, my Yorkie Poo, rules the roost and even helps me work the front desk. These days, I’m enjoying retirement—renovating the house, sneaking off to the beach, and boating. The best part is being able to work just three miles from home, helping out at KVD and meeting all our great patients!

Jessica Stackhouse – Hygienist

Whether she is working on her farm or taking care of her patients, our hygienist, Jessica, always puts her best foot forward. Jessica graduated from Trident Technical College’s dental hygiene program in 2016, and she has been practicing for over 7 years now. She says that her favorite part of being a dental hygienist is seeing the transformations in her patients’ smiles and confidence. Her two sweet daughters, her husband, Danny, and all the duties that come with farm life, keep Jessica busy! In the rare time she has all to herself, Jessica enjoys baking, spending time sprucing up her yard, and learning to crochet!

Meeting Haley Biffington at Kiawah Village Dentistry dental team

Haley Buffington – Hygienist

Hi, I’m Haley! I’m originally from the DFW metroplex, and moved to Charleston, SC in 2023 to be closer to my sister. In 2018, I graduated from Midwestern State University with a bachelor’s in dental hygiene and started practicing at a hospital called Scottish Rite for Children in Dallas, TX. I had the privilege of working there for 5 years serving a diverse special needs population, alongside pediatric and oral surgery residents and faculty from Texas A&M College of Dentistry. I have also earned my master’s degree from The University of Alabama in health education and promotion and became board certified as a health education specialist. Outside of work, I enjoy spoiling my nieces, going to work out classes, sleeping, listening to audiobooks, and running my photography business!

Hiru Patel – Dental Assistant

Hi, my name is Hiru (He-Ru)! I was born and raised in Stone Mountain, Georgia, and graduated from the College of Charleston in May 2025. I’ve been a dental assistant for 5 years here in the Lowcountry and am currently working toward my goal of attending dental school. In my free time, I love spending time with my baby nephew and friends. I enjoy doing henna art, reading, and doing my part to help save the sea turtles!

Jennifer Scott

Jennifer Scott – Dental Assistant

Born and raised on James Island in Charleston, SC, I’ve been a dental assistant since 2006 and spent over 15 years training under Dr. Ramesh Narang. I’m now proud to be part of the team at Kiawah Village Dentistry, where I continue to grow my skills and help patients feel confident in their smiles. I’ve assisted in many All-on-4 cases and completed advanced training, including Dr. Dunlop’s Full Arch Masters courses in California and Arizona. Outside of work, I love the outdoors—especially horseback riding and fishing—and I’m a proud mom to a daughter pursuing a career in the medical field.
