Dr. Ashley Hyman, DMD

Dr. Hyman grew up in Summerville, SC, and is a proud graduate of Fort Dorchester High School. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree with honors from the University of South Carolina, majoring in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. She went on to receive her Doctor of Dental Medicine from the Medical University of South Carolina. With more than 15 years of experience practicing dentistry in the Charleston area, Dr. Hyman brings extensive clinical knowledge, a gentle approach, and a genuine dedication to patient comfort and care. She recently moved back to Summerville, where she lives with her husband, Dr. Jason Hehr and their five dogs. Dr. Hyman and Dr. Hehr are longtime close friends of Dr. Plunkett, making her presence in our office especially meaningful. Dr. Jason Hehr is a highly respected and well-renowned oral surgeon in the Charleston area, and our practice frequently refers patients to his exceptional care. We are grateful to have Dr. Hyman supporting our practice. Her compassion, expertise, and trusted relationship with our team make her a wonderful asset to both our practice and our patients.
